CZ recently mentioned that Cypto Projects all used to start with âBââĻ bitâĻblockâĻ, and then the defi wave came and everything started sounding like food đ Pancake, Sushi, âĻ Then many other things happened and defi projects started sounding like a zoo or jungle; Ape, Goose, PantherâĻ I donât know how I feel about it, but it sure as hell funny! Many of us in the community have firsthand knowledge on many of these projects. I have no recollection on how exactly our involvement started with these things, but I can see a vast majority of our present conversation revolve around these terms over the last couple of months. To me it is fascinating! I have seen many financial things comes and go in my life. It is not the product that matters or will stay. What matters in the willingness to evolve with timeâĻ.. borrowing the old motto of a Bengali newspaper:
" āĻĒā§āϤ⧠āĻšā§; āύāĻāϞ⧠āĻĒāĻŋāĻāĻŋā§ā§ āĻĒā§āϤ⧠āĻšā§! "
Simple translation: You must read, otherwise you fall behind. Nothing can be more true in the fast and dynamic world of crypto. You must stay on the cutting edge at all times; otherwise, you get obsolete rather quickly. This is perhaps also true for out personal lives. If you canât evolve as a person, soon you will find yourself alone and friendless, likely in a small apartment or your room in your parentâs house. Itâs a fact. Now you may say, nothing wrong with that, I am perfectly fine with that. Cheers! Power to you! But take this from me, its not fun in the long run. You need your friends, real and virtual, both, these days. It is not fun to live in isolation for an extended period, especially when you are young. So, get a move on, get out there, and make friends, you will learn and enrich yourself in the process.
Getting back to these defi project that many of us are so interested in, it promises financial freedom, NOW, and that will a very low cost of entry. For most people from the developing world, the power of crypto comes in from the very low cost of entry. People can and does start with almost nothing and can built a good nest egg relatively quickly. This is impossible with conventional finance. However, there is no free lunch, so the success not automatic, it does require some commitment and education. There are numerous traps and scams; and it is unforgiving. It is like the wild west and everyone is literally out there to get you! Or rather your money. But if you can navigate the jungle, the success is possible and it never possible at this pace in conventional finance.
So, it is your call what you like to do. Do you want to walk the jungle? Or do you like to stay in your dadâs apartment for the rest of your life? LOL

That brown couch has only one inhabitant nowadays. The cat.
The dinner was served early as the old man was not feeling too well and thought of sleeping early. She too was feeling quite comfortable after that delicious meal but she found the remote and went clicking. No one knows when she learned to switch it on, but it doesnât matter. It takes her quite a few tries to change a channel; the remote doesnât work too well and with all the surrounding tapes makes it hard to click anything. Itâs a fairly old TV; an old TV for an old man. Once there used to be people in his tiny house and it was too small to accommodate everyone. Every night after dinner, they all will crowd that couch and create some unimportant, unforgettable memories. And now, thereâs no one else except him and the cat.
Nothing extraordinary, one might assume, itâs just a regular cat; when has that ever been true for any pet owners. To everyone who has a pet, knows how precious they are. Kelsey is also loved by her Human too; apparently the cat owners are now called their âHumansâ. Do I have to tell you who Kelsey is? It hasnât been very long since she was adopted, neither did it take long enough for her to win everyoneâs heart. Although she appears to be quite a diva at times and avoids the other living souls present in the house, no one can turn away from her. Unlike all those memes of âIf I fits, I sitsâ, she seldom does it. But that brown couch is hers and hers alone; if her mood is into sharing, then she allows someone to crash on it. Then again, there isnât anyone else in the house other than the old man, her owner. This is where he lived all his life; he started his life here and it will end inside these walls.
He loved the cat dearly, although that wasnât the case before. He absolutely forbade any pet living under his roof for decades, not out of hatred. If you see him now, you wouldnât say he disliked pets. Sometimes people change their minds, donât they? And now she became his pride and joy, a friend at the late stage of his life. Often he calls her âHer Majestyâ because of her personality. When Her Majesty claims her throne, aka the brown couch, he places her tiny blanket on her and flops in the chair nearby. She doesnât always operate the remote, only occasionally. When heâs away from the living room, he places the remote right under her paws. Other times she controls the operator; funny right? A cat choosing which channels or shows to watch. Oh, she has her favorites lined up as well. Just in the late hours, she prefers watching Animal Planet.
The brown couch and its recent occupier have their own story to tell. Old or new, every single item, living or non-living, has their story. Everything is old except Kelsey. The old house, the old TV, the old remote, the old brown couch and the old man. Only Her Majesty is refreshingly new. She changed the atmosphere, breathed in a new life. He was getting calls from nursing homes and assisted living situations; growing old, he was. Every day heâd be getting calls from real-estate agents to sell that broken down haunted house he lives in; yes, one guy called it haunted once over the phone. The old man had thought of getting rid of the tardy looking couch right before Kelsey had arrived, but she occupied it soon after she was brought there. Even the TV gets checked out by cable operators twice every month; Kelsey didnât like any of the newest TVs in the showroom, so no changes were made. The old shambles still standing, that TV needs repairing but refuses to die permanently and so the remote, the old brown couch still an object of contentment to one, and so the old man is at peace to some extent.
It almost feels as if sheâs the glue that binds the man with everything that comforts him; more or less her presence intensifies that sheltered feeling. All that was once decrepit, has now found a new spirit.
Her Majesty and her domain.
