Chalice or Goblet: Goblets are stemmed bowl-shaped glasses great for serving Belgian ales, German doppelbocks, and any other big sipping beers. Some chalices are etched on the bottom of the bowl of the glass to attract carbon dioxide, which provides a stream of bubbles that allow beers to maintain a nice head.
