My Steemit In Nigeria (S.I.N 2) Experience...A truly memorable one!

Hey guys... It's been a while I made a post..Well it's good to be back and I bring you great tidings from the just concluded Steemit In Nigeria meet up 2 (S.I.N 2) which I was opportuned to attend.

At first I didn't have the the urge to attend the event but at about 2 weeks to the event, my buddy @kilatunzii made me see attendance in a new light. So thereafter preparations began in haste since services rendition was on a first come first serve basis.

It wasn't easy getting sufficient funds considering the very low price of steem but then again, the benefits I stand to gain superseded the cost of going and that was how the first step to the event was made.

On the 30th of October, we made our journey from Benin to the Federal Capital City, Abuja where the event was to take place..The journey was tedious spending over 9 hours on the road but we later arrived at the NPF mess and suites where we were to lodge. Of course there was a welcoming party who welcomed us enthusiastically; the SIN2 crew and we were booked in at the reception and taken to our room.

The theme of this year's event was Building bigger and stronger communities and creating investment opportunities on the steem blockchain.

These events had a host of persons ranging from several communities on the blockchain and of course several noteworthy guest speakers who took their time to explain what blockchain and blockchain technology was all about and how we could put it to greater use.

I was also opportuned to finally meet with members of the Steemjet family many of whom I had so longed to meet; @kristenantai01 @emmycapable @ninoh22 @lordjames @uchenna @mbj @geyzee @yungchief @oredebbby @eddie23 @jesse12 and a host of others too numerous to mention

The event also featured the head of wafrica community @surfyogi who highlighted the importance of blockchain technology to the African continent

Not everything was serious business as we also got to catch fun especially at the movies and at karaoke night. There was also a dinner night event as well

The event was truly a remarkable one and I can help but wait for the next meet up. My special thanks goes to @Dimimp for the selfless love he has shown to us and to say that without him, going to this event wouldn't have been possible. so it is with great joy that I say I love you and I'm truly grateful for your support to minnows like me.
