Week 3 of Live Hive

Hive Still Thriving

Friday it will have been three weeks since the launch of Hive. I think we have come a long way in that short period of time. First hard Fork is in the works, and talk of the future still in progress. We may see Smart Media Token's upcoming we may not, it does seem to be something people would like to see, so after listening in on one of the first Dev chats it seems like some may be tackling that issue.

If you are not following @hiveio account you really should, they are the "Official account for the Hive Blockchain A blockchain built for the community, by the community. #HiveIsAlive". As I type this there is still only 722 accounts following them. I am sure there are more than those 721 + myself that are interested in the direction the community is heading.

Their last post: Community Discussion and Updates: Hive Airdrop Exclusion List and Code Corrections, Core Developer Meetings, was where I learned about the SMT's still being forefront on the minds of many. It was also where I found the recorded first Dev chat, (very interesting even from the stand point of a non-technical Block Chain person). @hiveio does have a Hive-io YouTube page for the videos and you can find the mentioned one there. So far 26 subscribers, I am not one of them, I just watch the videos on Youtube and never sign in. (to many commercials).

So if you are interested in staying informed or want to know what is upcoming @hiveio page is a good place to start. The main website: https://hive.io/ (has a lot of links to many useful things including the discord chatroom if you lose it).

If you need or are missing the equivalent of steemd page it is here: https://hiveblocks.com/ Same look and feel as over on steemd, just input your username in the input box up top and click enter and there you have it.

https://hive-db.com/ is the equivilant of Steemdb, same look same feel easy transition to use the tool.

Hiveio's home page has a link to one of the app pages - https://hivedapps.com/, this page was Developed by @therealwolf, and does provide a method of submitting other dapps to the list. So if you need to find one they are becoming easier to locate.

Conclusion

I am still enjoying and having fun on the Hive Block Chain, there is a lot of content I enjoy, and I am looking forward to see what direction our new community moves in.

As a final reminder if you are interested in helping decide what direction the community takes, please follow the primary Hive Account @hiveio. I feel for being as busy as they are that they are doing a pretty good job on communicating with the community, it is now up to the community to know where that communication is coming from.

Oh and in case anyone was wondering, No I have no clue who most of the people are behind the account, and I am not part of the insider group, I am just a consumer who is enjoying his time cruising the hiveways. Thrive on.
