Why is it that when there is a new change in operating systems, ie: Windows 11, that our old (8 years for my 2013 build and windows 7), our computers suddenly start to take a nose dive in usability. I know things game wise used to push computer technology to the edge and I used to have to upgrade every 2 years. Now I am not so sure what is driving the technology and pushing computers to the edge. Along with Windows 11, there have recently been jumps in processor ability. It has been several years since seeing news about processor abilities.

Good timing or bad on needing new Computers. Christmas just around the corner, I am sure the latest models will be on fire sale, but what about the newest ones? Will the operating system upgrades and processor chip upgrades lead to instant obsolescence of my Christmas Computer selection? Will the new operating system work well with the newest processor chip technology?

I also need a new one, (computer), I am just trying to figure out when to buy, now, Christmas or spring when the majority of bugs have been worked out. Spring though is a bit in the future, and what if (FUD), my current one dies? Missing out on the latest safe tech (FOMO) if I jump to early or to late. (kind of like the GPU cards for mining some missed out on).

A terrible thing FUD and FOMO have bought to the table of ordinary choices, it used to be so much easier before I ever learned the meanings of those two acronyms.
