FUD is a good name for it. From a Science Fiction story point of view I can see a lot of FUD. The guy in the center looking at and photographing the orb, Thinking it is an eclipse, yet a couple of others are looking to the left, while some of the shadowy figures are looking to the orb.

The sun is still shining because it is casting shadows. On closer exploration of the orb there appear to be lights on various concentrated areas of the orb.

I think this would be a nice painting for the open sequence of a Sci-Fi story.

Fear - What is it?

Uncertainty - Is it an alien space craft, a new moon, a governmental ploy?

Doubt - Is it here to help? Will it hurt us? It's just a hoax folks go home nothing to see, just some kids and a balloon trick.

It does raise some interesting thoughts, and that is what art is about raising thoughts in people.
