Why a Profile page and what is it for?

A long time ago in another chain far far away, there was an individual who came up with an idea of a profile post page. I tried, and then promptly forgot about it, and never really kept it updated.

I'm not a very well organized person, and am somewhat of a scatterbrain when it comes to keeping track and remembering to update things.

Well Hive is over a year old now, and I thought I would revisit and update my profile page and then re-do my banner page also.

The reason for the profile page will be as a container of what things I currently find interesting on Hive and what I am doing.

Music:

With Peakd's introduction of Curation Collections there is finally an easy means of building music play list. I have listened to some very nice music from people on Hive, and after awhile it gets very hard to re-find the music you liked, the Curation Collections makes that a lot simpler now.

So far I have three collections with one HF test that went awry, so four in total.

All music from Hive Musicians, a couple of cover tunes, but primarily original music.

Games:

They do not have to be real complicated affairs to be enjoyable. Zombie Adventure is a text and dice based game by @happyme. It is a pretty simple concept and can be viewed as a sit around a table board game and have fun, Here is the latest post if you would like to see what the game is about Zombie Adventure (Minting madness) - Game 58 - Day 25 (June 9, 2021) I am by the way dead, I died early, but I am still playing and drifting around as a ghost, having fun.

Not all games have to be all about making a buck or getting a return on investment in the games. Some can just be about having fun with a group of others looking to have fun. So I get a daily dose of fun with the game.

Finance Stuff

I have been trying to keep better track of where I am on Hive from a Hive Power point of view. I started back on steem building a spreadsheet to help myself see where I am and where I am going and where I could do better. Not that I have taken any of where I could do better and actually done anything to do better. I really did not join steem for the money, but for the free unique reading. Books by self published Authors, that were willing and nice enough to share their stories.

Things change, and cycles change, I still enjoy doing a lot of reading, but my activities have grown greatly as I continue to explore all that the block chain has to offer.

I eventually learned a little bit about crypto, and when i say a little bit I mean just that a little bit, I have a long way to go to even reach half assed knowing about crypto..

April 2021 Progress Report with links taking you back through to the beginning of my tracking. Here is the link to my first Hive Progress report; Prgress report March 2020, not a lot of info and it was data for really only about one week. It was however the beginning of my Hive Monthly posting.

I have steadily been trying to learn how to utilize the Libre Office spreadsheet. If you compare March 2020 to May 2021 report you will see what I think is pretty good growth on my learning curve, I learned to use pictures for some of the charts also.

In addition to the monthly charts, this year I decided to give a Hive-Engine Quarterly Chart a try out, so here is a sneak peak of it. As you can see I have learned a little bit more of making a presentable chart, at least I think I have:

Conclusion

Will I be able to remember and update on occasion, I am not sure, but it is now here and updated for hive, and I may add more as time goes by.

If your curious it was Asher who I first saw mention the Profile Post. I thought it was a good idea at the time, I still think it is a good Idea, it gives people a place to go and see a bit more easily what I have been doing, I just need to revisit it more often.
