I should do a more complete post of this area. There is a lot more than the views. The beach, is mostly sand with a few rocks, and a lot of seaweeds and shells at times. It is a very nice beach to walk, and comb for treasures of the shell variety and occasional very rare find of an agate, or other interesting rock.
There is a pretty large parking/camping (trailers) area. No rustic pitch a tent place unless you want to tent camp on the beach, but the tides can get pretty good size. The sand dunes are pretty much off limits for activity, due to erosion. You can get some very nice pictures of Eagles and Seagulls playing and flying along the waters edge.
There is a second beach area along the river, pretty steep bank so not an easy thing to get to the river waters, and there are always seagulls gathering there, and the occasional eagle looking for fish. This is one beach area that they do not seem to mind if people drive their cars/vehicles on. The sand is pretty loose so four wheel drive should be used and if you have a "Beach" vehicle there is a lot to see and explore.
On the inland side of the road is the wetland area, and there are often ducks and other waterfowl in the distance, binoculars would be handy as they do not often come close to the road area.
