Just Buzzing Around
So keeping it short, I'll get to the point. We had a nice day today. We went toward captain Cook Park on a photo excursion. It was a pretty breezy day, but still had fun, the wind kept most of the mosquitoes away.
One of the stops was at the Nikiski Beach for a walk and agate hunt. Well I struck out on the agates, but I did find some nice small rocks to take home.
After the walk it was photo time. It has been awhile, (over a year) since I got to see a bumble bee, let alone try to get a good picture of one. All photo were taken with my 35 mm lens.
I'll present close ups of the bee images at the end.
This busy bumble bee was all over this piece of yarrow. Now is the time for them to stock up and fill the coffers.
