I want to talk a little bit more about myself as a future pensioner!
I’ll be 56 in July 2021. Unfortunately, I’m not retired yet ☹️
Why did this happen?
Until very recently in Russia, elderly people retired at that age - women at 55 and men at 60.
Such an age to take a well-deserved rest was adopted a long time ago, in the time of the USSR!
But, unfortunately, in recent years we have carried out pension reform in Russia.
I’m not going to tell you why. To stay out of government politics.
As a result of the pension reform, the retirement age has been raised by 5 years!
This is very bad!
Many people in Russia protested against raising the retirement age - writing letters to state authorities and the president.
But they didn’t want to hear.
Many countries of the world, on the contrary, take care of their senior citizens and LOWER the retirement age.
That’s good!
But in Russia, that age has been raised... ☹️
And now I have to wait another 1.5 years to be a happy pensioner!
This good moment will happen in January 2022!
I’m really looking forward to my retirement! I have lots of plans!
What am I supposed to do when I retire?

In the meantime, I don’t want to be sad or sad!
Time goes fast! And soon PENSION!!!
Now I’m doing current household chores - cooking, growing vegetables in boxes and pots on the window sill, reading interesting books and watching movies.
