Recently, I had to visit the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kiev. The fastest and most economical transport of this city is the subway.
For many people, it is a common thing to go down into the ground. But for a person who is used to seeing sunlight, at least from a window, this is not a very common thing.
Once, I stayed longer than usual and, I waited for the last rolling stock, for the night, the subway was closed.
Apart from me, there was no one at the station, the light was dim, I felt like a mole, or a mouse, which was forced into a deep hole and not let out by force.
Immediately, they began to recall moments from the movie The Matrix, the metro station, from which there is no exit.
But, after a while, I saw the headlights flashing in the darkness of the tunnel and the rumble of an approaching train. I sighed with relief.
In this figure, there is nothing that is true. The form of the train, the tunnels and the station, all fiction. Even the direction of the train. In Kiev, the train moves counterclockwise, I wanted to change that. I like to move forward in time and not take a step back.
The atmosphere of a place that came up with my imagination, I tried to visualize and fit on a small sheet of paper, A5.
A simple ballpoint pen with blue paste and paper was for me assistants in this.
I am happy that my collection of drawings has been replenished with another drawing.
