But time changes priorities. during the war, I think. what is most important is the presence of any roads, of any quality, and the more of them, the better for him who wants to bypass a dangerous obstacle and not fall under the hail of bullets of the invaders.
On the other hand, the fewer roads and the worse they are, the easier it is to defend your home and the more difficult it is for the enemy to make a march.
Like it or not, there are both negative and positive aspects in bad roads.
