I've walked past this sign countless times since returning to Scotland a few months ago.

I always notice it in a manner that triggers something inside which manifests as irritation and annoyance. I guess my reaction reflects something of the tone of the person who came up with the idea, a person who no doubt considers themselves clever and witty. I could just about give the first definition a pass, but the second one stinks! I've found myself re-wording it along the lines of "Someone who - without question or research and with sanctimonious virtue signalling, consciously regurgitates demonstrably false, scaremongering propaganda in an arrogant and divisive manner which deludedly considers itself to stand for Truth and the Greater Good".

But hey, that's just my perspective on what appears to be an attitude of "Let's control the world and be wildly over-responsible, thereby relinquishing the need for a meaningful, sensible response, and conveniently side-stepping shitty little things like introspection or taking responsibility for one's own actions. No DYOR required here pal, YOU are guilty, YOU are to blame!"

Interestingly, 'the chocolate cafe' in the reflection has 'CORO...', something I've only just become aware of!

Amen! It's out of my system now. Peace to all 'Covidiots', myself included :).
