1. ¿Qué es Hive? || What is Hive?
Hive es una red destinada a la creación de contenido de calidad, es una blockchain que permite a quienes hacen vida en ella generar ingresos por su contenid Su criptomoneda es el Hive, esta permite hablar sobre muchos temas en general ya que existen diversas comunidades con el propósito de que los creadores que tengan preferencias respecto a ciertos temas puedan crear en esta.
Hive is a network for the creation of quality content, it is a blockchain that allows those who make life in it to generate income for their content. Its cryptocurrency is the Hive, this allows to talk about many topics in general since there are several communities with the purpose that the creators who have preferences regarding certain topics can create in it.
¿Cómo supe de Hive? || How did I hear about Hive?
Supe primero de Steemit gracias a un amigo de la universidad que siempre me decía que tenía "madera" de creadora de contenido. Porque, la verdad es que siempre he sido bien "salía" como diríamos aquí en Venezuela en lo que refiere a hablar sobre lo que me gusta, experimentar nuevos retos vivir sacándole fotos a todo y creando cosas nuevas para así fuese mi feed de instagram. Siempre tuve el deseo de tener un blog y de hecho por ahí a los 13 tuve una página de facebook junto a unas amigas jajaja. Mi amigo siempre me animaba a unirme a Steemit pero yo no le hacía caso y tampoco es que entendía mucho sobre el tema así que siempre terminaba de alguna manera ignorando lo que me decía jaja. No fue hasta la cuarentena en la cual sinceramente todos mis trabajos estaban saliendo mal, hacía mil cosas por hora y la remuneración era un desastre y, mi amigo me hablo sobre Hive, esta vez me explicó con más calma, me mandó varios post y como a las dos semanas (ya casi será un año de eso, omg) me animé a comenzar a crear mi post de presentación y bueno, aquí estamos 😍
I first heard about Steemit thanks to a friend from college who always told me that I had the "wood" to be a content creator. Because, the truth is that I've always been very "outgoing" as we would say here in Venezuela when it comes to talking about what I like, experiencing new challenges, taking pictures of everything and creating new things to make my instagram feed. I always had the desire to have a blog and in fact when I was 13 I had a facebook page with some friends hahaha. My friend always encouraged me to join Steemit but I didn't listen to him and I didn't understand much about it so I always ended up somehow ignoring what he told me haha. It was not until the quarantine in which honestly all my work was going wrong, I was doing a thousand things per hour and the remuneration was a disaster and, my friend told me about Hive, this time he explained to me more calmly, he sent me several posts and about two weeks later (it will be almost a year of that, omg) I encouraged me to start creating my presentation post and well, here we are 😍
¿Cuales eran mis dudas al ingresar a Hive? || ¿Cuáles eran mis dudas cuando me uní a Hive?
Me surgían tantas dudas, es que no estaba muy segura de como era eso de "trabajar por internet" para mi era un poco imposible. Además para ese momento estaban de moda tantas redes que monetizaban su contenido de una manera un poco subida de tono y para mi fue como que, ya va ya va, ¿Qué tipo de contenido tengo que crear, tu no me estarás motivando a crearme un only fans? jajaja, así de ignorante era. Pero, cuando me senté a ver los post de ejemplo que me mandó mi amugo, me llovieron tantas ideas que fue como que AAA, me emocioné muchísimo por comenzar con mi blog. No sólo me sentí emocionada sino que asustada porque no entendía como funcionaba el algoritmo para que se muestren mis post o cosas así, estaba tan acostumbrada a las redes sociales habituales que bueno...
I had so many doubts, I was not sure how it was that "working online" for me was a bit impossible. Besides, at that time there were so many networks that monetized their content in a way that was a little over the top, and for me it was like, what kind of content do I have to create, you're not motivating me to create only fans? hahaha, that's how ignorant I was. But, when I sat down to see the sample posts that my friend sent me, I got so many ideas that it was like AAA, I was so excited to start my blog. I was not only excited but scared too because I didn't understand how the algorithm worked to show my posts or things like that, I was so used to the usual social networks that well....
¿Cuál ha sido mi experiencia hasta el momento? || What has been my experience so far?
Ha sido una trayectoria llena de mucho aprendizaje, para mi, cada post en un aprendizaje, cada iniciativa, cada concurso... todo esto nos deja una nueva enseñanza que nos hace crecer como creadores cada día un poquito más. Como si fuesemos hormiguitas que trasladan a diario un granito de arena.
Desde que comencé en Hive he aprendido a manejar muchas herramientas que no sólo me permiten trabajar para mi blog sino que también en mi vida cotidiana, en la creación de mis clases, la edición de mis fotos para la danza, etc. Me gusta muchísimo sentarme a ver mis primeros post y ver como aunque no sea una pro actualmente mi creación de contenido ha evolucionado, ya sea desde la captura de mis fotos, su edición, la redacción, como justifico, centro o alineo mis redacciones.
Son detalles que nos muestran que el esfuerzo y la dedicación dan resultados. Cuando me estaban explicando por primera vez todo sobre como crear un post, como justificar, como esto, como lo otro, el animo por crear cosas nuevas se me bajó un poco porque sentí que eran muchas cosas por aprender, muchas cosas por entender. Que si estar atenta con mis HP, moderar el comentar e interactuar mucho al ser nueva, aprender que era el Hive, que era el HBD, cómo diferian, para que era uno, para qué era el otro. Aprender sobre powerdown, powerup y un montón de cosas más.
Ver toda esa experiencia que con el tiempo haciendo vida en la comunidad he adquirido, verme ahora explicándole estas cosas que sentí que yo nunca iba a poder aprender a las personas que animo a unirse a la comunidad me llena mucho y me motiva a seguir. Seguir aprendiendo, creando, y tratando de cada día sumarle más granitos a mi montañita de arena que es mi montaña de aprendizajes y experiencia
It has been a trajectory full of learning, for me, each post is a learning experience, each initiative, each contest... all this leaves us a new teaching that makes us grow as creators every day a little more. As if we were little ants that move every day a grain of sand.
Since I started at Hive I have learned to handle many tools that not only allow me to work for my blog but also in my daily life, in the creation of my classes, editing my photos for dance, etc. I really like to sit back and look at my first posts and see how even though I'm not a pro nowadays my content creation has evolved, whether it's from capturing my photos, editing them, writing them, how I justify, center or align my writing.
These are details that show us that effort and dedication pay off. When they were explaining to me for the first time everything about how to create a post, how to justify, how this, how that, the other, the courage to create new things went down a little because I felt that there were many things to learn, many things to understand. That if being attentive with my HP, moderating commenting and interacting a lot being new, learning what was the Hive, what was the HBD, how they differed, what was one for, what was the other for. Learning about powerdown, powerup and a lot of other things.
Seeing all that experience that I have acquired over time making life in the community, seeing myself now explaining these things that I felt I was never going to be able to learn to the people I encourage to join the community fills me a lot and motivates me to continue. To continue learning, creating, and trying to add every day more granites to my little mountain of sand that is my mountain of learning and experience
