I'm in a phase of total experimentation, trying out lots of things: natural dyes from the garden, different types of water-based and alcohol-based inks, iron oxide, natural mordants, aniline, ethanol, and more.
Here I used a black water-based ink that dilutes quite a bit, so this has created a particular effect and makes it look as if it were out of focus.
