Hello pipooll~~ I'm back and I tried making another version of my recent ink wash drawing and I think... it was just really big beginner's luck because I am honestly not that proud of what I did here, or rather, the one with the colored overlay because I think the overlay was a little too dark or too heavy? IDK I'm still trying to figure out what remedy to do here... But I do think it still came out pretty good XD

This is the pure ink wash one ^^ definitely not as good as the first one, but still good. And it's a learning experience at least.
Here is Rexie ^^
As for my progression:
I actually had a hard time sketching a Dino this time because I have never drawn a Dino and I dunno why both looked squished to me XD But oi stuck with the one on the left
I did the first layer ink, as well as some light shading, I was still trying to figure out how to draw a Dino cuz I really thought it would look good ink washed but I did not consider if I could execute it or not
This is my third layer with a much darker shade plus I was already doing more details on it while thinking, I'll just polish it when I do the highlights XD I am proud to say that I didn't use the smudge brush for this so you can tell it look s a bit more unrefined than my other drawings.
Then here is where all the dark inking led to. Not too proud but it came out pretty okay.
Not gonna say it's one of my best but it's still good. And this is all from me for today! I want to enjoy my weekends and sleep some more so... Time to nap again! I'll see you guys later!
