I am back! So I gave up on the idea of naming the prompts cuz I swear, if I keep getting sick, busy or end up doing adventure days, I am no gonna get anywhere like this ;-; so for now, I'm still doing the prompts but I just do them at random cuz it eass the pressure on me a bit ^^ wll, I need to stop pressuring myself to begin with but I think doing this will help. Next time I do a prompt list will be in the ber months so I hope by then, I'm more prepared cuz my attempt now felt like me just forcing myself to and I was not happy with a list of my drawings there.
Material: watercolor, pencil color, white acrylic marker
Duration: 1.5 hours
I actually did this yesterday while sick cuz my mom was forcing me to stay awake to watch over the house renovations downstairs. The water meter broke so we had to get guys in to have it fixed. So basically, while they worked, I worked but I was also dead but trying to be as helpful as possible. I don't think I was that helpful though XD but I did my best and kept them fed and hydrated while working cuz mom left me food money XD
Going back to the drawing, I really enjoyed doing this one cuz it was just really soft and sweet
very blobby at first though cu I had to do a bit of blending to get the soft colors to actually build up a bit of softness to them plus I wanted the colors to be a bit muted so that when I didthe pencil layer, it wouldn't be that hard to pencil over them.
So I started with a sort of muted purple fr this which was nice ^^ I would have actually gone with that color but I was thinking it would kill the softness I was going for.
So from the purple to he blue, I spent like almost an hour just building up the layer with blues and grays ten eventually I had to use black cuz my color theory was not working anymore and I needed a bit of depth for the eyes, the branch and the shadows. These days, I really try hard not to use black if I could but sometimes it really is inevitble, especially when you know that black would really give your drawings more life.
Then I did my highlight and voila! I have finished my baby birds UwU
In the prompt I followed, this prompt would be siblings, and they are ^^
All in all, I had fun with this one, I hope you guys enjoyed this one too!
