Hello everyone again!
I think that without a doubt, today's chapter has been the most suffered of all in number of deaths and stagnant time. In fact, the original video was something like an hour and a little more, but I cut out a lot of parts where basically, we were dying with Nayfull Hahaha. I don't think it's really a nice thing to watch, unless you like to see me mad at the game. Likewise, I did leave the best parts 馃. Without further ado, let's get to it.
Picking up where we left off, now it's time to escape from Marcus's mansion. Clearly it was not going to be easy, the whole place is completely surrounded by Locust arriving left and right, to spice up the situation a bit, we also have a time limit to reach the escape vehicle, before something happens. We have no idea what it will be, though...
Well, apparently, in addition to all the enemies that were already attacking from all sides, a Brumak appears and destroys the vehicle. I think it goes without saying that this means death for all of us, it basically represents getting caught up in the Locust horde.
I don't know if the Boomers get smarter with each fight (I really don't think so, they just know how to say "Boom"), but they are definitely sharpening their aim. Literally before I lean out so I can shoot, I already have the rocket in my face. They have the reaction time of a Hacker in Counter Strike, there is literally no chance of hiding. The funniest thing of all is that this happened many times throughout the chapter, in the Gif you can only see a fraction of my suffering. Well actually from my anger, I was already starting to get poisonous heat as the Gameplay progressed Hahaha.
After many attempts, we finally found the best strategy to advance our escape. You just had to kill the first Boomers and run away amid the gunfire and explosions. Although it's not my style of play, there was no other option, the difficulty we have the game on makes it impossible to kill all the enemies before we run out of time. But at least we managed to continue.
Remember how I told you that the Boomers were more skilled? Well, I found one that took the forbidden steps of Michael Jackson, it's even strange to see how the "Ayuwoki" is looking the other way when he decides to throw a rocket at me from a somewhat strange position, it will remain as a legendary record of his appearance. HA HA HA
The Locust are improving their ambushes tactics every time. In the kind of theater that you can see in the Gif, we literally spent about 30 minutes dying without stopping. There was no way to advance, since the game will force you to go separate ways, which implies that both Nayfull and I had only 1 life. Anyone who was downed represented automatic defeat. Well, I'll just say that it happened many times.
Most important of all, as in most games. It's using your environment to your advantage. Gears of War literally forces you to do these kinds of things in order to survive, the Locust do not make it easy to win the game without wits. Although in reality I like to play better that way, with a high difficulty.
