My experiment was not to choose an exotic route, but to use an exotic method of filming. On the Internet, this method is called Free lensing. Its essence lies in the fact that you detach the lens from the camera body and keep it at some distance. At the same time, you still shift and / or tilt the optical axis of the lens.

As a result, you can get a strange zone of sharpness in a photo, either in a corner, or a stripe, or even a dot. In this case, a lens with a focal length of 50 mm is considered to give the best results. I had a Helios 44-02 lens with a focal length of 58 mm, but given the size of the camera matrix (crop factor of 1.5), this will be approximately 85 mm (equivalent).

I went for a walk in the village of Kolomyagi hoping to try a new way of shooting. This was the experimental part of my walk. So let's go.

I tried to focus on the head of this cast-iron cat. I forgot to mention that with this shooting mode, interesting effects are obtained with a fully open aperture. You may not get enough sharpness, but still find other interesting effects.

And then I came across thickets of blossoming cherries...

If you have a significant gap between the camera and the lens and light enters it, then this changes a lot. In my case, lilac filters, glare and horizontal stripes from the matrix appear.

The street was shady and I was lucky to meet people who bring the photo to life.

As you can see, the zone of sharpness in all the photos is in different places. You can juggle with it.

At the edge of the village stands a modern medical center made of glass and concrete. I already showed it in reflections. There is a fountain next to it.

But I want to end our walk with a green village view.

See you soon.
Take care of yourself and loved ones.
