Here are traces of marble extraction in two different ways. Traditionally, the rock was drilled to the desired depth, gunpowder was poured into the holes and blown up. You see traces of these Boers in the photographs. The edges of the pieces were not even. Over them began to work stonecutters.

После взрывов оставалось много мелких камней и крошки. Всё это шло на переработку в печи. Мрамор пережигали для получения извести. Так же получали щебень, крошку и небольшие блоки для разной мелочи. Работало несколько печей. Сейчас от печей сохранились трубы и некоторые фрагменты зданий. На этой территории может быть будет музей.

Добыча мраморных блоков с используованием станков канатного пиления велась с 1974 по 1986 годы. После этого работы были остановлены и все карьеры и шахты закрыты. Сегодня мы имеем прекрасный Горный парк.
