In Russian, the name of this mushroom sounds like a killer of flies - fly agaric (mukho-mor). Looking at this photo, I would not say this. Both flies and their larvae happily feed on fly agarics. Now there are a lot of fly agarics in the forest, but more than half of them are eaten by worms and ... slugs (snails).

В русском языке название этого гриба звучит как убийца мух - мухомор. Глядя на это фото я бы не стал это утверждать. И мухи и их личинки с удовольствием питаются мухоморами. Сейчас в лесу очень много мухоморов, но больше половины из них изъедены червями и ... слизняками (улитками).
