On the same green planet, it was even cooler upstairs than in his native cave. And here above there was a lot of all sorts of interesting things.

Инопланетянин Ку никогда не видел ничего подобного. На его оранжевой планете из земли ничего не росло. Только песок, небольшие камни и много пещер, в которых жили его соплеменники. В этих благоустроенных пещерах было удобно укрываться от палящего излучения.
На этой же зелёной планете даже наверху было прохладнее, чем в его родной пещере. И здесь наверху было очень много всякого интересного.

At every step, Ku was waiting for new discoveries. It turns out there was a lot of water and it flowed freely between these trees. It was impossible to imagine on his orange planet. There, the water was deep underground and its extraction was difficult.
На каждом шагу Ку поджидали новые открытия. Оказывается тут було много воды и она свободно текла между этими деревьями. Таое было невозможно представить на его оранжевой планете. Там вода была глубоко под землёй и её добыча была трудна.
Ku got used to living in a cave and the local sun dazzled him a little. But it was completely different from his home planet. Here it was bright, but gentle and pleasantly warmed the skin.
Ку привык к жизни в пещере и местное солнце его немного слепило. Но это было совершенно не так, как на его родной планете. Здесь оно было яркое, но ласковое и приятно грело кожу.
Some trees just grew their land. Others tried to get upstairs and come closer to the water. Such water was called rivers here. Maybe these trees just wanted to drink? But they stood still and did not move. They probably do it at night when no one bothers them. Very shy.
Некоторые деревья просто росли их земли. Другие пытались выбраться наверх и подойти ближе к воде. Такую воду здесь называли реками. Может быть эти деревья просто хотели пить? Но они стояли на месте и не двигались. Наверное они делают это ночью, когда им никто не мешает. Очень застенчивые.
Some places resembled the entrances to his cave. Ku is very tired. It was unusual for him. He sat down on the warm earth to rest and quietly fell asleep.
