Hey guys!
I am really excited our twins turned three today!
I remember last year posting about them turning two and boy did the year fly by!
We had the normal family over for coffee and cake and my wife made everyone Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes for dinner. It was delicious!
We were up until about 1230 this morning preparing everything; wrapping presents, decorating, and finishing up the Cakes.
Yeah that's right I said cakes, two of them. The girls each got their own cake. Both were Minnie Mouse, which they chose themselves and they also got to choose the flavor strawberry for one and chocolate for the other.
The guests stayed from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. so the kids got 4 hours of good quality family time. Everyone seemed really happy and it's was mostly chill. My wife has mastered the operations and doesn't stress out much about it and it always seems to go off perfectly.
Amazing to see how much they have grown in the past year and I am very proud of my girls!
We missed the American family a lot today but spent some time on the video chat so that was nice too.
We sang lots of songs as well. Here is a German twist to the American Happy Birthday song.
