Life isn't perfect, and yet, we love life. Every day, we edge towards building a life for ourselves in the best way we think we ought to despite the challenges we might face every minute we try.
The world needs good and bad to be balanced, and the bad in it makes it not perfect, and yet, we intend to create that perfect life for ourselves. Impossible! Because we can never be perfect.
Being perfect means having no flaws, which is not humans' way of thriving as everyone has a little or more bad in them.
However, I am not fully here to whine unnecessarily about good and bad.I am here for something else, so let's talk about a perfect day. It is common knowledge that Friday is the most loved part of everyone's day. The smell of everything is different because it clicks us towards the weekend. And when Sunday sets in, different melancholy thoughts set in.
"Oh, no! Monday is almost here again. I just can't wait for Friday."
Despite our whining and shouting, Monday comes in any way with its cloudy like-weather screaming to you on how you have to get to work early before you get sacked.
But, this time around, no whining is allowed as I am about to create my perfect Monday, and the planning starts from the weekend. Unlike other weekends where I have to sleep and rest like a log of wood. However, this weekend is different.
Firstly, let's go with TGIF, yeah... yeah. It is Friday anyway. Monday has always been a sneaky ninja, so it will be here soon, and I am creating something beautiful out of it. I'll branch the market after work and get foodstuffs from the market.
On getting home, the next thing is to keep things in the freezer while I rest for the day. The moment Saturday sun sets in, I am cooking different varieties of foods and making a cake too. Well, don't look at me like that... cake is needed to survive.
My Saturday will be dedicated to kitchen work, then movies, and then rest.
I'll get my clothes ironed on Sunday, my shoes cleaned and my wig ready for Monday. Also, I am getting my phone alarm set with the most lovely music to feel my ear as the alarm tone.
And now, Monday. My alarm rings, and I am listening to my new favorite Korean song, which is a good start to my Monday. The next thing on agenda is to twist my waist and dance as the song comes on after being fully awake.
The shower will come next, and so will dressing up and then... cake and coffee to move, but before that, I am dishing out a delicious meal for myself, eating it, and also cleaning up my room because... It is the perfect way to end the day, especially a Monday. Getting back home from work to find a clean room and well-made bed, those miracles to the heart, try it.
Getting to work with a smile on my face, the next thing is to do my work and also, most importantly, look for trouble... My colleagues are surely in for a Monday surprise fun day for me and… them? And yes, I am making sure I do work both online and offline without getting stressed. My cake will be with me all the way and yes... hollandia yogurt to go. A perfect day!
When work dismisses, I am surely going back home with a bigger smile and my bag with suya(meat) and the nylon I am holding with a fish pepper soup package. Yeah, I am not missing that.
The moment I get home and shower, the next thing is to enjoy my meal with any American insane action movie I can find and viola! Monday is perfect for my body and soul.
