Hearing the sound each day it comes makes my heart beat. The air that surrounds it is mild and caring just like how a mother treats her baby. I have been in love with it ever since I knew what it was. The way it makes me feel is beyond measure and all I know is that... I would love to see and feel it every season.
I have a weird body temperature. It is funny how my body reacts. One minute my skin and insides will feel like the world has finally embraced volcanic eruption like a lover, other times, cold takes me all over and sometimes I will be left in the middle. And, the most interesting part of this all is that, I can feel all three things in a day even when I feel fine.
I feel this is one of the reasons my body loves the cold season a lot. I am a sea person, therefore, I find bliss listening to water. The way the rain platters and the air it brings heals me from within. It is supernatural as I feel loved and everything life has to offer at this time. No amount of cold can make me put off the fan although this year hasn't been my favorite health wise, hehe.
I know there is a season for everything but if I were to make a season stay forever, I would choose the rainy season not because of the things I have mentioned. Maybe slightly… Come on, don't blame me. Instead read on.
Apart from the fact that people nicknamed it weather for two which I believe is perfect. It brings loved ones closer as they need to heat themselves up. The atmosphere it creates is divine and I won't be surprised if studies show that most of the world population were begotten from the copulation between couples during this season.
Also, if you've been among people in the force, you would understand why most of them love this season. Camp fires, and lots of things take place without anyone feeling like they're too clingy.
Water is comforting like the lips of a lover dancing romantically on the other. If you are a big fan of Korean movies, you'll understand it when I say it is like waiting for the guy and the girl to kiss and you know the feeling it gives when they finally do. Hehe, that moment sticks and that is how the rainy season is to me only that I don't know if the feeling is mutual. Haha.
I know that no season is perfect and having to let the rainy season stick will affect cloth drying in places, cause floods, and other things still, I will stick with it. As humans, we cause all this to wreck ourselves if we want to and besides, rain is natural. So, why don't we hope it sticks? I'll smile a lot if that happens which is great.
Let's all go for the weather for two. I am sure you will all like that.
Also, don't forget about the feeling you get when listening to music or watching a movie during the rainy season. Phew… It Is Super!
