Wat Phra Kaew is a royal temple that is beautiful and important in performing various royal ceremonies. Built in Rattanakosin in 1782. This was the first time I went to Wat Phra Kaew. Although I worked in Bangkok for more than 10 years before, I have never been to Wat Phra Kaew. Wat Phra Kaew is a temple in the heart of Bangkok. It is a very beautiful and famous temple. Tourists often come to visit this temple every day. Visiting the Wat Phra Kaew requires dressing appropriately. If a woman wears a short dress the temple also offers a service to borrow scarves or sarongs. The day I went, I wore a sleeveless dress, so I had to find a scarf around my neck to cover my body.
During my visit, there were a lot of tourists I can hardly find a beautiful photo corner. I think this is a very good time to visit Wat Phra Kaew because there are not many tourists due to the situation of the covid epidemic causing the number of tourists to decrease. But now, to visit Wat Phra Kaew, you must buy a ticket one day in advance through the temple's website. My husband and I have plans to travel to Bangkok in the next 3 months. I hope to return to visit Wat Phra Kaew again.
