My family and I are gearing up to move to northern Thailand soon. That's why my son and I are trying to capture as many memories of Phuket as we can. I realize that in the future, dining out like this might not be as feasible. While I can still relish the stunning sea views through photographs, the thought of this change does bring a mix of excitement and trepidation. Even though it's a decision we've made, it's natural to feel a bit apprehensive about such a big move.
Today, my son and I had lunch at a cafe called "Coffee in Farm." It's a place close to our home that we really like. The cafe has a nice vibe, and the food is both tasty and reasonably priced. Even though we visit frequently, it never gets dull. The view, in particular, is stunning. No matter how many times we come, we always manage to capture beautiful photos, just like always.
I thoroughly enjoy spending time there, particularly at the nearby pavilion. The parking lot is dotted with numerous small pavilions, and large trees generously offer their shade. The addition of beautiful orchids further enhances the charm. The whole area is meticulously designed to resemble a quaint garden, featuring an assortment of ornamental plants and flowers. To top it off, a meandering canal brings a refreshing touch, providing both shade and a cool breeze to the surroundings.
After enjoying some time in the garden near the parking area, my son and I strolled up to the coffee shop on the third floor. The ambiance was just as lovely. In particular, the front of the Mining Museum boasts a sizable pond encircled by mountains and pine trees, creating a truly enchanting scene. I find myself capturing photos of this spot nearly every time I visit.
After I snapped some pictures of the surroundings, I settled back at our table. Before long, the staff brought over our drinks. Today, I went with a mango smoothie, which had just the perfect amount of sweetness to it.
Following that, they brought out the "Spicy Salmon Salad" and the aroma was absolutely enticing. It featured generous chunks of salmon mixed with zesty spices. This is a dish we never fail to order whenever we dine here. Its deliciousness is consistent every single time.
Shortly after, the final dish arrived: the "Deep-fried dried pork," which my son had a hankering for today. Served alongside steaming sticky rice, it made for an incredibly tasty meal. Whenever hunger strikes, it's this kind of meal that immediately brings Coffee in Farm to mind. Besides the scrumptious food and wallet-friendly prices, the atmosphere is just right. I'd be curious to visit in the evening; I imagine the ambiance would have a different but equally enchanting charm. However, I'm not much of a dinner person, unfortunately.
