Hello everyone

Having seen my husband work non-stop for several months I decided it was time for him to get some fresh air and enjoy a long weekend of relaxation. After some research my choice was made on Phuket Laguna, even if it's not very far from our home, the setting is perfect to relax.

The Phuket Laguna was until the 80's a huge tin mine, then they started rehabilitating the place which is now an amazing place with some huge resorts with direct access to the peaceful lagoons and the Andaman Sea.

After hanging out for a while on the Agoda website I came across a promotion of 70% at the SAii Laguna Phuket, located in Bang Tao Beach, for the weekend, as the weather was looking good I didn't hesitate a moment and I made a reservation for a family room.

We leave the house at 1.50 pm and arrive at the hotel at 2 pm and check in immediately. The lobby area is a Thai-style building with a raised roof. Which makes the atmosphere look airy, the wind blows all the time, the weather is not hot.

The center of the lobby is decorated with a large vase of dried flowers.

The walls of the hotel lobby are decorated with more than 50 years old pictures. Telling the story and way of life of the Phuket people beautifully framed.

There are snacks and dried fruits here customers can eat. During check-in, the receptionist will also serve drinks to customers.

After checking in, the staff brought us to our room. The rooms here are divided into 2 zones, the zone next to the lake, which is very quiet is full of trees. The other zone is adjacent to Bang Tao Beach and the swimming pool. We stayed in a room next to the pool and overlooking the beach. Each zone has a corridor that connects the lobby to the rooms. I think this hotel must have been built for many years. The corridor or even the door looks quite old.

Inside the room is a double bed. And there is also a sofa bed next to the window. This area can sit and admire the view of the pool and the beach. In the evening, we can see the sunset as well.

Inside the bathroom is divided and clean. But if you're going to stay here, you need to prepare a toothbrush and toothpaste as well. Because this hotel does not provide these services to customers. Fortunately, I brought a colored brush and toothpaste as well. Because it's a habit of going to a hotel and some hotels don't have it for me, so I prepare every time.

This is the door at the back of the room. There is also a table to sit and relax while enjoying the view outside. This door can also be used to walk out to the pool or the beach.

After packing my luggage, I immediately went for a walk around the hotel. The hotel is a 3-story building, applied Thai style. Amid the nature of the beach and the lake very nice atmosphere.

This area is between the lobby and the restaurant which will be a wide stone courtyard. There are chairs for relaxing around the stone courtyard is a pond with many koi fish swimming around.

This balcony overlooks a green lawn shaded by coconut trees, a Swimming pool, and a beach.

Then we continued walking because this is a hotel with a large area. We walked to the lake on the side of the hotel has a pier. Overlooking a hotel built around this lake. After a while, a ferry crossed over to dock at the pier where we were standing.

So I asked the boatman where this ship was going on. The boatman replied that the boat was to pick up customers from various hotels. So I asked if I would take a boat to see the surrounding scenery. Can the lake How much does it cost and how long does it take? He replied that it was free because the hotel had already charged this part of the room. And it takes about 30-40 minutes, so we agreed to take a boat to see the lake.

The weather at the lake is very good.

The boat crossing keeps sailing in the lake and stops at the piers of various hotels. Tourists are waiting for services to cross to the other side or another hotel.

Then sailed through a small canal to go to another lake. Along both sides of the canal, many trees create a lot of shade.

The boat took us under the bridge my son was so excited.

Shortly after the ship passed under the bridge, it almost reached another lake. I can see the hotel in the distance.

After passing through the canal, it will become another large lake. There is a large Laguna chain hotel on the edge of the lake.

This lake also offers sailing and kayaking activities.

This is another pier built into a beautiful Thai house by the lake. Around the lake, there are many high-end luxury hotels. And all hotels near the lake can use the boat crossing at all times.

This is a floating restaurant on the lake. Visitors can take a boat crossing to reach this restaurant, which opens from around 5 pm until midnight.

Then the boat crossing turned around and took us back to the pier of the hotel. Very impressed when took a boat trip around the lake and saw various hotels and the beautiful nature of this lake.

After taking the boat crossing to see the atmosphere of the lake. My son asked to swim. So we went for a swim at the pool next to the beach. The evening weather is not hot, suitable for swimming very much.

my son was very happy. It's been a long time since he didn't swim like this.

When my son and husband swim in the hotel pool. I walked along the long beach for exercise. Next to the hotels where we stay on the beach, most of them are bars for chilling and enjoying the beauty of the sea and sunset.

Around 6:30 pm., the sun begins to set. The sky had begun to change color from turquoise to a gleaming brass.

In the pool area can see the beautiful sunset. And the evening weather is very good the wind blows all the time.

Many tourists sit on the beach to see the beauty of the colors of the sky at sunset.

The sky gradually changed its color, as if a painter was splashing its colors across the sky. Then flick the tip of the brush changes from gold to orange and red.

After watching the sunset, around 8 pm., we went to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. In which the hotel has 3 restaurants. Each restaurant will be different food. The restaurant inside the hotel is a buffet every Saturday night. There are many foods to choose from including beautifully decorated Thai desserts on large plates.

After eating, we walked to the nearby lawn Swimming pool to see the atmosphere at night. Which is as beautiful as the atmosphere during the day. And to allow the food to be digested before going to bed.

This is the night atmosphere of the lake. The lights from the hotel across the street can be seen reflected in the river.

I woke up around 5.40 am., and came out for a walk at the beach around 5.50 am. The sky and sea are blue with the moon floating in the sky, very beautiful.

Very strong waves and winds. The sound of the wind and the waves lapping against the shore like the frantic sea. Causing areas of the sandy beach to disappear from the surge of the waves.

Around 6 a.m., the sky was still not very bright, and people were still sleeping. So they missed the opportunity to see the beauty of the sea in the morning like me.

Around 7 am., the seawater began to recede. So I walked along the beach to the lake that we sailed on during the day. Because here in the morning you will see many lotus flowers blooming by the lake in the morning light.

Around 9 am., I walked along the beach back the same way back to the room. After that, we went out to have breakfast in the hotel.

Breakfast has a lot to choose from. My favorite is the omelet and duck salad, very tasty.

This is a duck salad. I refilled it 3 times because it was extremely delicious.

After eating a full meal we went back to our room to store our luggage. Prepare to check out to go home which can check out as late as possible until noon. But we miss and are worried about the 2 cats who were left at home, so we checked out early in the morning.
