Every day of our lives, we experience the weather as a part of nature. One can feel a certain way depending on the weather. It can sometimes make one feel strong, and other times the opposite. In actuality, weather does contribute to the way we relate to the environment.
Being new to the weather here in Kano State, Nigeria, I do wish it was always rainy or cold and the weather never changed.
I occasionally ponder why I chose to remain in Kano State. Except when it's rainy season, the weather can occasionally be exceedingly unpleasant.
Although the weather is currently pretty. We've been in the rainy season for just three weeks now. It had previously been hot. The previous weather can best be compared to hell on earth. Lol.
Here in Kano State, the heat is so intense that neither a fan nor an air conditioner can help to lessen it. You'll doubt if you're still on this planet or another because of the intense heat in this area.
The only option I have for dealing with the heat is to take several baths every day to assist in calming the body, even if it won't last for long. The heat weakens me and has several effects on how I go about my activities.
However, the weather in this area does have two sides. When it is their season, the likelihood of experiencing heat, cold, or rain is always high, but the heat is the most unpleasant.
For me, I like it when it rains because I enjoy the freshness and cool wind that comes with it. It’s wonderful as it always puts me in a nice attitude and makes me feel better.
I prefer the rain and cold weather, and there are moments when I wish the heat had never existed in Kano, though the changing of the weather also has a positive impact on one's life and environment.
