Jeandré Pistorius - Circles [Original] - Performed at Aandklas open mic

Open mic nights are the perfect place for young musicians to explore, learn, grow, fail and succeed. It's a great space to finde your feed in the music industry by networking with and befriending musicians and industry people alike.

Jeandré is one of the fresh new faces that joined my nights in January 2018, playing solo on a stage for the first time ever. He is one of the guys I point out when people ask me why I host these events... because he really stepped up this year and put in the effort needed to grow as a muso.

Is he musically perfect? No.
Is he ready to hit the big stages with millions of people watching? Also no.
BUT... none of that matters. What makes me so damn proud of him him, and others like hi, is that they are putting in the effort to grow. And you can mark my words, this will pay off.

I don't know where he will be in the industry in 10 years' time, but I can assure your that I will be standing in the background, nodding with approval, knowing how hard he worked to get there, wherever that might be.
