So the curve didn't work and linear didn't work so we put them together and call them a linear curve, now that is brilliant it should do wonders.
I know something even more brilliant than that: we don't do anything and expect that things improve nonetheless. Flawless logic: we tried X and it didn't work, why try Y, clearly X didn't work why would Y, or Z, or X/Y.
