First off it wasn't only two whales at all, it was A Majority of Whales. Abit and Smooth can attest to that, even if from what I remember, @abit began it, and
@smooth joined, they weren't the only ones who participated by far. I remember
@fulltimegeek was among those actively sacrificing their voting power by flagging, and it couldn't have happened without the OVERWHELMING Majority of Whales not voting, or you really think both of them could have done it by themselves?
Stop the bullshit if you think so highly of them. First, this is proposed by them, but they are either fools or greedy fools by your post, else why would people you think so highly of, do something you think is either foolish or greedy and foolish? You think very highly of freedom as well, right? what they wish to do with their stake also, correct? considering the options, you think very highly indeed. . You also literally just tried to Retard Logic that Eli is not investing because maybe she doesn't believe it a good investment.
You know why the experiment happened? From what I remember, it was lead up (I even confronted{I think I told him to be fucking upfront about it} @ned before the hf about if it would be included in the the much anticipated upcoming hf and he said Nothing, which said everything) by the lack of linear in hf 17. The requested change was so demanded as a solution to the whales having the reward pool all to themselves that when it did not come it prompted the experiment to see if a more equal voting distribution would be a good idea, and guess what happened after two months of success demonstrating beyond a doubt that engagement and reward distribution was unparalleled from before.., yes you guessed it, The much anticipated hf was finally rolled out containing that change only, it was dubbed hf 17.5, and the need to curb whale domination over the reward pool was not there anymore.
You don't think very highly of either the community, Steem the protocol or the development behind it, and that couldn't be clearer, a retard like you will undoubtedly try to mince words : I didn't say not smart, I said not too smart which will most likely sound a lot like apologetic nonsense for your own retarded (verb. to make slow; delay the development or progress of (an action, process, etc.); hinder or impede.) consideration of the changes, the community, the process that was necessary for these things to happen, and very much low brow opinion of the people behind them, so no, I don't expect for you to own up to any of it and I would not be surprised in the least if you, yet again, try to make it about: "you calling me a fool you fool Vs it's foolish to be so certain of the effect of the changes and disregard free downvotes as ineffective, especially considering the history of flagging", but nice try at fooling yourself with the whole speil oabout "I'm not a retard, and I don't think steem or steemit is retarded" because I wouldn't buy that in a million years.
