I told myself, this would be the one, the holiday I would go on and resume a totally different person, but today I opened my notepad app to go through the to-do list I had written out at the start and it's not looking like it should. I had written eight things on the list and out of those eight I was only able to tick off three things. Even out of those three things that I ticked off there are some of them that are subjective because I know that wasn't what I meant when I was writing out the list. Even with the fact I could barely tick things off, this was probably one of, if not my most productive holiday ever. Of the things I couldn't achieve, there were only two that I didn't attempt because of lack of opportunity (or maybe it's just procrastination). I didn't do the others simply because my goals changed, and achieving them was no longer important to me anymore.

This holiday I got a taste of how difficult it can be to grow a crypto portfolio. I used to think if I had a certain amount of liquid on me it would be very easy to multiply it a couple of times. But then I got something close to that amount and suddenly all the opportunities that were there before suddenly became nonexistent. There was even a time I lost a good portion of it and was so sad, maybe even nearing depression. But I was able to persevere and make it back. I've learnt that even with a little money, making money isn't easy, (Or maybe I just haven't earned enough to get to that easy mode).

This holiday I started the journey towards growing a brand on X. It hasn't been easy at all. And sort of reminds me of my early days on hive, but in a bigger pond. I have found it to be a learning experience and It has broadened my knowledge. I have also made a lot of new friends as well.

This holiday I went back to learn some of the basics in programming that I wasn't taught. Although I am yet to finish the course, I have learnt a lot from what I have covered.

This holiday I learnt to play lawn tennis. It wasn't even anywhere in my to-do lists or in any of my plans ever, but then my cousin said she wanted to learn and I decided to tag along, and that was how I learnt (even got myself a racket).

This holiday I learnt how to drive a manual car. Automatic cars have been all I have ever driven, but I finally learnt how to drive manual. It is a bit harder, but I found it fun to learn.

The holiday was packed and at times didn't feel like a holiday, but I have come to accept that it is what it is. I see it as the price to pay for a more relaxing holiday in the future. For now, the goal is to get at least a little better every day, and this holiday I feel like I did good in that aspect.

Now that the holiday is over, some of the things I incorporated will not be phased out completely. It is left to see how I can put things together and function. It's not going to be easy, but adaptability is one of the traits of great men and women after all.
