Good day guys trust your doing okay, today I'll be writing about my trip to Omu Forest resort located at Ibeju, Bola Tinubu Way, Lekki,Lagos, Nigeria 馃嚦馃嚞
I went there two years ago with my family on Christmas day so some things might have changed but here's my experience.
When we got we waited in a room where you pay for a ticket (or if you've paid online you show them proof of payment to receive your ticket) then we are asigned a guide and given a tag depending on the package you pay for.
The first place we were taken to was the aquarium I don't think I saw any fish that really caught my attention here but here are a few pics
Then we were taken to the zoo where we saw a lot of animals like hyenas, monkeys, karacals, some birds which I couldn't name, snakes, monitor lizard, Lions and some others.
We arrived just in time for the feeding of the lions which everyone wanted to see, but to be honest I was a bit disappointed as the lions were not really as wild and gruesome as they looked. The male lion was struggling to subdue the Goat which it did but it didn't tear it to shreds, it simply injured it and left it to suffer while the lioness didn't even really attempt to eat the rabbit it was given. After that we left the zoo to the amusement park, the rides weren't much but we made the most of what they had
I then went to play table tennis before kayaking in this little pond
They were other fun activities that I couldn't do since they were not covered by my ticket, activities like paintball gun fight, go-Karting and some others.
All in all it was a fun experience for me and my family I really enjoyed every moment
