It's the first day of the second month of the year 2022 and I'm so happy to have made it this far. For a lot of people the month of January was unnecessarily long,but for me it was the exact opposite. Majorly because I wanted to achieve something before the end of the month. In the end I wasn't able to achieve it (the month wasn't long enough),but I'm very close to achieving it so I'm grateful.
Anyways,today is the first day of the month meaning it's hive power up day,the day when we stake our hive. You can choose to stake hive anyday, anytime,but it's become a tradition for hivers to stake their hive tokens on the first day of the month.On top of that hive buzz gives a special badge for those who power up at least 10 hive on power up day. There are also cool contests to encourage those who power up.
Today I powered up 33 hive.
Moving my hive power from 337.5
to 370.5
I'm slowly closing in on being a minnow (having 500 hive power). I plan on ending the year with at least 1k hive power and I feel I'm on the right track.

Also I've been focusing on earning a few layer 2 tokens like, proofofbrain, pimp, dreem (can't stake this), vyb, pizza, posh, cine, and this new token I saw in my hive-engine wallet called WIT(it's for those who write fiction).
As I don't plan on selling any of them very soon. I decided to stake all the stakables.
At the moment they are not really worth much, but I'm confident by this time next year, they'll be significantly higher.
