Today I am helping a fellow participating in a rice research sponsored by the ACIAR team. Today after college we helped him pull out the grass that grows on 2-week-old rice paddies. Comparisons of grasses are removed even more than the rice is planted. The research undertaken will help the aciar team to obtain data that what biochar is used for rice crops and whether crop rotations affect rice yield and growth.
