I have been interested in doing more with ultraviolet photography since I found out about it and today some of my UV bulbs came in so I had to test it out. Apparently it works well will certain types of plants and other organic materials but for this test I just used some small unused light sticks. I did not break the light sticks to make them light up, what you see is from the effect of shinning a ultraviolet light on them. I am anxious to build a photo box just for this so I can try other objects with longer exposures. Some of the setups can get pretty expensive and I may look into that if I get some type of results I am looking for with the less expensive one I currently have. I usually tend to learn with the cheap stuff and decide if I want to pursue it more.

Hope you find it as interesting as I do, and stay tuned for some much cooler stuff soon.
