Visiting a rural part of Lagos, Nigeria
It was an outskirt of Lagos, quiet, calm, and so different from the usual hustle of the city. I found myself in the peaceful village of Epe, where time feels like it slows down. The roads are looks nice, the air feels fresher, and the people are warm and welcoming.
I was also able to see that the major means of transporting materials, especially wood for roofing, is through the river using wooden boats. It’s such a beautiful blend of tradition and resilience. The people here were genuinely friendly and open to conversations.
