Arriving in Banda Aceh at 08.00 am, we immediately looked for dinner. Because we were tired and hungry, we chose Aceh Fried Rice typical of Jalan Panglima Nyak Makam, Lampineueng, Banda Aceh. This choice is due to its position near with our position that night.
Even though the name is Aceh Fried Rice, visitors can get various types of dishes and drinks there, including Acehnese noodles. Daus Restaurant in Lampineueng is not the only restaurant in Banda Aceh City.
In addition to Lampineueng, there is also on Jalan Sultan Alaiddin Johansyah in Neusu, on Jalan Teuku Panglima Polem, and several other points in Banda Aceh.
Even Daus restaurants can also be found in Lhokseumawe City. Daus has indeed become a specialty franchise restaurant in Aceh.
In Daus, there are various types of fried rice such as young lamb fried rice, steak fried rice, seafood fried rice, and many more. When I eat there, I always order young goat fried rice because the meat is very tender. Unfortunately, the young goat's fried rice is gone last night.
Finally, I chose fried rice with fried shrimp and fried birds. This fried bird is very delicious because the meat is tasty. Even the crispy bones of birds are very delicious to eat with fried rice. There are also choices with omelette, depending on the tastes of visitors. The servants served the fried birds on a plate to visitors.
Daus fried rice is equipped with pickled onions and cucumbers which makes it more delicious. In fried rice there are also pieces of pickled pineapple, fried peanuts, and fried salted fish chunks. It feels amazing, especially when you're hungry when traveling long distances.
Various types of juices are available at Daus. Likewise, the famous Aceh coffee delicious. But I do not recommend drinking coffee here because it is not far from Daus, still on Jalan Panglima Nyak Makam, many Acehnese cafes with delicious coffee. []
