What Really Goes Into Running Ayesha Learning Hub
People see the finished worksheet, the neatly organized test, the "class starts at 5 PM" post — and assume that's the job. It isn't.
What they don't see is the night before, sitting with a blank page trying to figure out how to explain acceleration to a student convinced Physics just "isn't for them." I started Ayesha Learning Hub with a Chemistry degree and lab hours at PCSIR — but no playbook. So I built one, one badly-explained topic turned into a well-explained one at a time.
Some days it looks like grading papers late into the night. Other days it's sitting with a student who insists they're "just bad at Chemistry" — and slowly proving otherwise, not with a pep talk, but with a mark scheme they finally understand. That click moment is the whole job. Everything else is scaffolding around it.
Then there's the quieter side nobody sees: the branded templates, the consistent navy-and-teal look so a student flipping through notes instantly knows it's "Miss Ayesha's material." The answer key I write before finalizing a test, because what seems obvious to me can be genuinely unclear to a 15-year-old seeing it cold.
If there's one thing I'd want anyone starting something like this to know: the credibility isn't in the logo, even though I care about it. It's in whether the kid drowning in June can explain the concept unprompted in October. That's the only metric that's ever mattered to me.
