I observe that many young men feel so relaxed about the issue of early marriage. Even from 35 years old and above they think they are not yet ripe for marriage. And they're quick to make fun of any lady who openly express desire for marriage. If you get around town you see many men in their 50s who are still bachelors because of this attitude.
The truth is that, as a young man, if you get married between 40 and 45 years old, you are old! This is because by the time you clock 55 or 60 your first child will be between 15 and 20. That is, if you're lucky to start getting children immediately. By the time you clock 65 or 70, your eldest child may be 20 or 25. Now check out the strength of a 65 or 70 year old man in bringing up children nowadays. Some of us will always give this weak excuse that it is hard to find a good lady to marry. Others cite bad economy as the reason for their late marriage.
First, let it be pointed out that nobody is a saint. Therefore, do not expect the ladies to behave exactly the way you want them to. Look for your favorite 'babe' and marry, and God will smoothen the marriage for both of you.
On the bad economy, do you have to be a billionaire before you settle down? Start first! Other things will fall in place.
Let's stop deceiving ourselves thinking that we still have time before settling down in life.
Let us stop thinking that because majority of the women enter menopause between 45 and 50 years of age, they should be more desperate for marriage.
No! Everyone needs to get married early in life when we should use our youthful energy to bring up our children.
Importantly, early marriage makes marriage even more fulfilling and pleasurable.
