2024 has arrived and we are already living in 2024, it鈥檚 amazing right? I feel like this year has passed very faster than previous years. I don鈥檛 know how and why I didn鈥檛 feel that the time is passing normally as it does always. 2023 was very hard for me in this year I got my new self and got to know about my surroundings more.
2023 was not easy for me but this was the lucky year for me I got to meet many Bangladeshi Celebrities and it was unexpected that I would ever meet anyone. I hope 2024 has new surprises for me and hope that those are not bad ones but the good ones.
My favourite day of the year for me is my birthday, which is on 26th January. I am always excited for my birthday no matter what circumstances I am in, I would still get excited for my birthday before it even arrives. I am eagerly waiting for my birthday to arrive. Of course, my birthday is special for me since childhood and no matter how much I grow up I would still be this much happy. I have seen peoples feeling old because their of their upcoming birthday but I don鈥檛 see it in that way. Because I think my birthday is going to bring up a new life for me, I feel more alive during my birthday. In my opinion it is a privilege for me to get to celebrate my birthdays, because of the children does not get this opportunity.
Moreover, on birthdays it is a perfect time to realise own responsibilities and take a step towards to complete them. I have different plans for my birthday every year, but one thing is very common that is my dad and I visit the graveyard of my grand father and before leaving there are some homeless people living nearby the mosque on the road side, my dad buys sweets for them. To be honest this action of my dad brightens my morning.
My birthday is the day when I can do whatever I want at any time, My parents also makes sure that I am feeling special . My parents always plans my birthday in advance. They have always made an effort for my birthdays preparation. When I was younger they used to buy new outfit for my birthday so, that I would look my best.
My parents used to take me to shopping malls and buy my favourite toys such as barbie. As I got older, instead of receiving toys as a gift, They started giving me money. During my birthday celebration my family and friends gathers and when we I am cutting the cake they would sing "Happy Birthday" song. Sometimes I feel very shy when they sing the song.
After celebrating my birthday, I make the decisions to purchase winter clothing for poor families living nearby the road as my birthday comes in January and winter stays for a long time. My parents would support and help me to cooperate. Last year we went to shopping for clothing such as sweaters, socks, jackets and other needy things after purchasing I would distribute them between the underprivileged children.
After that we would go back to our house then after dinner, I would start to open the gifts. It doesn鈥檛 matter if the gift is small or big even handmade cards or anything is special for me. I would become emotional by seeing the handmade crafted gifts. Each time my parents gets emotional by thinking that time is flying by very fast because the sooner I grow up the sooner I would grow enough old to get married and leave their house.
So, yeah I am looking forward for my birthday and I want to accomplish those things on my special day.
