“WELCOME!!” (the Merchant, Resident Evil 4)
….to another Weekly Challenge, this time with the Animated Corpse. I managed to get to Silver fast this time, so the battles are in that league.
As well as in the previous challenge, I’m using a legendary summoner, in this case, Mimosa Nightshade, at level 1. With such a card I didn’t have to worry that much about strategy, because Mimosa’s debuffing capabilities make a great difference in Bronze and early Silver.
In every single battle that I fought, for this challenge, the summoner was a very determinating factor. Here, although I had, on overall, more firepower than my opponent, I could’ve lost the battle due to my monsters low health. However, Mimosa’s ability to buff my Monsters against magic, and debuff ranged attacks, made me win the fight.
Again, my opponent had a stronger lineup, but my summoner abilities allowed me to win. Also, the combination between Harklaw, in the front line, and Mimosa is quite strong, since we are shielded from all kind of attacks; melee, ranged and magic.
Here my summoner was very useful at annulling the Byzantine Kitty’s healing effect, otherwise that could’ve been a problem. Also, being able to summon Cthulhu is great; not only is a very strong legendary, but also is one of the best looking cards in the game. Personal appreciation.

“WELCOME!!” (el Buhonero, Resident Evil 4)
…a otro Desafío Semanal, esta vez con el Animated Corpse. Me las arreglé para llegar a Plata rápido esta vez, así que las batallas son en esa liga.
Al igual que en el desafío anterior, estoy usando un invocador legendario, en este caso, Mimosa Nightshade, al nivel 1. Con semejante carta no me tuve que preocupar mucho por la estrategia, porque las capacidades de disminución de estadísticas de Mimosa marcan una gran diferencia en Bronce y Plata baja.
En cada una de las batallas peleadas, para este desafío, el invocador fue un factor muy determinante. Aquí, si bien tenía, en promedio, más poder de fuego que mi oponente, pude haber perdido debido a la baja vida de mis monstruos. Sin embargo, la habilidad de Mimosa para fortalecer a mis Monstruos contra magia, y reducir ataques a distancia, me hizo ganar la batalla.
Otra vez, mi oponente tenía una alineación más fuerte, pero las habilidades de mi invocador me permitieron ganar. También, la combinación entre Harklaw, en primera línea, junto a Mimosa es bastante fuerte, ya que estamos blindados de todos los tipos de ataques; cuerpo a cuerpo, a distancia y mágicos.
Aquí mi invocador fue muy útil al anular el efecto sanador del Byzantine Kitty, de otra manera podría haber sido un problema. Además, ser capaz de invocar a Chulhu es genial; no solo es un legendario muy fuerte, sino que también es una de las cartas que mejor se ven en el juego. Apreciación personal.
