I’ve always surrounded myself with people. It didn’t matter whether they were good or bad influences. In school I was bullied heavily and I didn’t have that many friends, when I became older and I lost my grandma who I considered my best friend to lung cancer, I became depressed. A couple years went by and I still wasn’t making any friends and I was still battling depression. Another year went by and I started making “friends,” at least I thought they was. They were people that I called my friends that was only in my life to steal, use me, and peer pressure me into doing really ignorant things. Over time I’m learning what true friendship is and how to wait and let friendships happen on their own. Whoever is reading this, you may already know. It matters who you surround yourself with. If you have the wrong friends they can drag you down, rather then building you up to your full potential!
(This is my group of friends from the alternative school that I attend. Don’t mind the mismatched clothes it was spirit week!😜)
