Yesterday Julian and I went to pick up his car and I asked him if we could go sight seeing. His car broke down in the middle of 2017 so me and him haven’t been anywhere besides work in a long time. He said yes and then asked me where I would like to go, I told him downtown Cape where the Mississippi River is. When we got there, there was a man stacking rocks and taking picture of them. I decided to stop and take a picture as well. He said hi to both of us and then asked if we would like to hear a couple tunes, because laying beside a beam was an old acoustic guitar. We said sure.
After he played us some tunes he asked what we were up too. After we told him I asked what brought him out here, to stack rocks and play guitar. He said that recently he was fired, can’t afford his apartment, and had to move back in with his mom so he came out here to do some soul searching. I’m sharing this because earlier in the day I was thinking of how bad I have it. After meeting this older gentleman I realized that yeah I may have bills I can’t afford but things could be a lot worse. To help give this man some support (not saying money just verbal support) you can find him on Facebook at Henry Kennemore. He told me that he can only get on when he has WiFi, but he tries his best to let everyone know how he is doing on there. He shares some very inspiring things and I love his profile picture! Everyone have a good and safe week!!! ❤️✌🏻
