No, I will not use the term HODL. It no longer makes any sense. I am not holding on for dear life! I am overwhelmingly confident, maybe not concerning each and every coin I possess but, for the majority of them, hell yes I’m confident.
This is what is so perplexing: Most people say; “don’t invest any more than you can lose” or some facsimile thereof. So, in that respect; why would one be holding on for dear life? Am I right? Why are we so complacent to use the term HODL.
Seriously, we shouldn’t be using the acronym HODL anymore. It sends bad connotations. Everyone reading this already knows crypto is the future. How can new investors take crypto serious when such an acronym is used? Change it. Change it to something more positive. Hell, I don’t care….use:
HOODL – Holding out of dear love.
or
HOLDING - …..duh….it just means I’m holding
or
GTG – Good to Go.
Something, anything than HODL! It was good in the past. No more. Hopefully sometime soon someone will come up with a better, more relevant acronym/saying.
I’m done ranting. Think about it. Thanks.
