I don’t always have a clear idea of what I want to design, but I do know for certain that I want to do it; in fact, most of the time I need to. It’s like a way for the mind to express itself, or the need to create. And I don’t always know which images I’m going to use; I simply search for a generic word and choose the images that catch my eye. Often they’re completely unrelated, but for some reason I manage to weave them together and achieve a good result.
First, I found several images of women’s faces in sketch form, very interesting black-and-white drawings with an antique-looking sepia background. That’s what guided my imagination in choosing the rest of the images, both for the background and the flowers, and although I wasn’t sure what the final result would be, I kept combining them until it came together.

No siempre tengo en mente lo que quiero diseñar, pero si tengo en claro que quiero hacerlo, de hecho, la mayoría de las veces lo necesito. Es como una forma de que la mente hable o de la necesidad de crear. Y no siempre sé que imágenes voy a utilizar, simplemente busco por una palabra genérica y elijo aquellas imágenes que me llamen la atención. Muchas veces no tienen relación entre ellas, pero por algún motivo logro entrelazarlas y logro un buen resultado.
Primero encontré varias imágenes de rostros de mujeres en dibujo, muy interesantes en blanco y negro con un fondo en sepia que parecía antiguo, eso fue lo que guio mi imaginación hacía la elección del resto de las imágenes, tanto para el fondo como las flores y si bien no tenía en claro el resultado final, las fui combinando hasta que el mismo llegó.

The design was created entirely in Photoshop CS6 without the use of AI, using 12 royalty free images spread across 20 layers.
I created the background using the pink image that looks like old paper, in two layers: I converted the bottom layer to black and white and left the second layer in normal mode. On top of this, I placed the fractal image, another elegant image and one of a musical score, applying different blending modes such as Soft Light and Darken; in the case of the musical score, I created it across three layers, erasing parts of it to reveal the background, using Soft Light, Darken and Darker Colour blending modes.
I then placed several layers of the three flower images in different parts of the design, using Spot Light and Darker Colour blending modes. Using the same blending mode, and having first erased much of the background, I placed the four black and white images of women’s faces, interweaving two on one side and two on the other.
Finally, in the centre of the design and beneath the previous elements, I placed the image of the woman with her eyes closed in two layers, erasing almost the entire background in one of them and using the ‘Overlay’ and ‘Darker Colour’ blending modes.
The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

El diseño está realizado completamente en el programa Photoshop CS6 sin uso de IA con 12 imágenes sin derechos de autor distribuidas en 20 capas.
El fondo lo cree con la imagen rosada que parece un papel antiguo, en dos capas, donde la de abajo la llevé a blanco y negro y la segunda la deje en modo normal. Sobre esto dispuse la imagen de los fractales, otra elegante y una de una partitura y les puse fusiones diferentes como luz suave, oscurecer y en el caso de la partitura la realicé en tres capas borrando partes de la misma para que se vea el fondo, con fusiones de luz suave, oscurecer y color más oscuro.
Luego dispuse varias capas en distintas partes del diseño de las tres imágenes de flores, con las fusiones de luz focal y color más oscuro. Con la misma fusión, borrando previamente gran parte del fondo dispuse las cuatro imágenes de los rostros de mujeres en blanco y negro, y las entrelacé dos por un lado y dos por otro.
Finalmente dispuse en el centro del diseño y debajo de lo anterior, en dos capas la imagen de la mujer con los ojos cerrados, borrando en una de ellas casi todo el fondo y usando las fusiones de superponer y color más oscuro.
La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
