Reading your post reminded me of when my brother and I created our own vegetable patch at my grandmother’s house, back when we lived in Argentina. We always had fruit trees, but we lacked vegetables, and growing our own really helped us financially, as you quite rightly say, as well as being good for the environment. I’ve never kept animals for food, but I have tried hare, which is very similar to rabbit, though it’s wild. You’ve made a good decision; with the economy being so tough, we need to look for alternatives, and this is a very good one. Well done to you both. I know looking after the garden takes a lot of work, and you’re doing a brilliant job. Big hugs!💗
