I have visited Jorge Rando's museum several times, and whenever you see art you can always find interesting details and indeed see each painting in a different way.

Rando is one of the artists who makes this possible as his paintings are expressionist but also have a touch of abstract.

There are three sections of his beautiful art collections that are very striking, not only because of the size of the works, but also because of their colours and what they want to convey, or at least what they convey to me.

One of these sections is dedicated to the religious theme, above all to the Passion of Christ, and I believe that in my opinion it manages to capture emotions, very expressive feelings.

The suffering, the pain and the passion are very well captured. Characters that sometimes have their faces outlined and at other times it is just emptiness. I believe that these emotions are in the soul and are deeply felt there.

Looking at the paintings makes me think of those intense feelings, passions, pains, injustices of life, just as Christ had to go through. It is just a reminder of real life, of the whole world.

But in its colours I see hope. For me colours are important and the artist uses green as representative of hope and health, hot pink as love, energy and yellow as enlightenment and wisdom. I think it is a powerful message.

And from there, what I most appreciate is the message of salvation and love, the counterpart to those sufferings and sorrows. Human beings are full of passions in their lives, but there is always light at the end.

In the last two rooms of the museum, we can see paintings referring to landscapes and nature. As in the previous one, the strokes become less clear and there is a lot of abstract in the paintings, although there is also a lot of colour.

In this sense, as it happens to me, I believe that the artist finds a great source of inspiration in nature, be it plants, trees, animals or even human nature. Everything is nature and it is an inexhaustible source of possibilities.

Its beauty and energy means that artists can find beautiful images in it and that nature is the inspiring muse for many things.
When one looks at nature, one finds that it is always changing, because life is precisely that, change and always good.

To capture that energy on canvas, in paintings, is wonderful. Nature is the greatest art in the world, she is the best artist of all.

In her we will find answers, energy and much more, and this can be seen in Rando's paintings.

Although in this first part, there are many dark paintings, she uses a lot of black, but there is a glimpse of colour, perhaps as a message to see beyond the darkness, the true essence.

At the end of the room, we find more canvases on the theme of nature, but this time somewhat different.

Three colours are very marked, although as I learnt black is not a colour but an absence of light, that is what my painting teacher always told me.

The pictures are painted in black, yellow and green and stand out in their beauty.

A mixture of nature and nudes, human figure in parts without strokes but denoting the interrelation between the human being and the natural. The pure, beautiful and full human being.

The unburdened, light, unclothed human being, where true nature can be seen. People as they really are with their inner light. I think here the artist is talking about the inner self and the full love, both of the human being and of nature itself and its connection.

If I focus on the two colours of yellow and green I can see the wisdom of the natural and the hope in universal love.

I like to look at the background of things and more of what paintings like these convey to me.

I hope you enjoyed these great works of expressionism as much as I did.

Best regards to all of you and see you next time.
Amonet.
