Process in pictures - Proceso en imágenes
Time is one of the topics that fascinates me the most, for several reasons, and what a contradiction, because in reality, time is an illusion created by humans, it is relative and only exists on this plane. Thinking about it, I always represent time through clocks, because they seem to represent a time, and on this occasion I was thinking about the people who are trapped in that time. I imagine they would be trapped inside a clock and stressed by time itself. Therefore, I also thought that this situation could be expressed in black and white.
But when a person becomes aware of the lack of time and that the past, present, and future are one, colors open up for that person, they move away from the shadows, from false reality, and discover a new world, free from the constraints of time. A varied range of these colors with spectacular vibrations opens up, and one can understand what cannot be seen, other worlds, such as one without time, and in turn, what already exists is transformed. Thus, this person is freed from the slavery of time.
I created the design entirely in Photoshop CS6, without using AI. It consists of seven images distributed across fifteen layers.
I created the background with two of the images, one of fog that had a tree which I removed with the patch tool, and then the other black and white image consisting of ink. I placed this image in three layers with different scales and positions and with focal light blending.
On top of that, I placed the green watercolor image, but in the animation it will appear at the end. I arranged it in two layers with darken blending, and I changed the color of the second layer to pink in image - adjustments - hue saturation.
Then I worked on the antique clock in two layers, erasing the edges of the second layer and using darker color and focal light blending modes. From the image with many hourglasses, I chose one and placed it in four layers in different parts of the design with different scales and positions, using darker color and focal light blending modes.
Finally, I worked on the woman's face in two layers, matching them to the antique clock as if the face were inside it. I converted the first layer to black and white in Image - Adjustments and erased the second layer almost completely, leaving only the woman's eye and mouth. Between these two layers of the face, I placed the image of the colored liquid, from which I erased the background and added a drop shadow in Layer Styles.
The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

El tiempo es uno de los temas que más me fascinan, por varios motivos, y que contradicción porque es realidad el tiempo es una ilusión del ser humano, es relativo y sólo existe en este plano. Pensando en ello, siempre represento al tiempo mediante los relojes, porque parecen representar un tiempo, y en esta ocasión pensaba en las personas que están encerradas en ese tiempo. Imagino entonces se verían atrapadas dentro de un reloj y con el estrés que genera el tiempo mismo. Por ende, también pensaba que esta situación puede expresarse en blanco y negro.
Pero cuando la persona toma conciencia de la falta de tiempo y que pasado, presente y futuro son uno, los colores se abren para esa persona, se aparta de las sombras, de la falsa realidad y conoce un mundo nuevo, libre de las ataduras del tiempo. Una gama variada de esos colores y con vibraciones espectaculares se abre camino y se puede comprender lo que no se ve, otros mundos, como uno sin tiempo y a su vez se transforma lo ya existente. Así esta persona se libera de la esclavitud del tiempo.
El diseño lo realicé completamente en Photoshop CS6, sin usar IA. Consta de siete imágenes distribuidas en quince capas.
El fondo lo cree con dos de las imágenes, una de niebla que tenía un árbol el cual elimine con la herramienta parche y luego la otra imagen en blanco y negro que consiste en tinta. Esta imagen la coloque en tres capas con escalas y posiciones diferentes y con la fusión de luz focal.
Sobre lo anterior puse la imagen de la acuarela verde, pero que en la animación aparecerá al final de la misma. La dispuse en dos capas con fusión de oscurecer y a la segunda capa le cambié el color a rosado en imagen - ajustes - tono saturación.
Luego trabaje el reloj antiguo en dos capas en la cual a la segunda le borre los bordes y las fusiones que usé son color más oscuro y luz focal. De la imagen que tiene muchos relojes de arena elegí uno y lo coloqué en cuatro capas, en distintas partes del diseño con distinta escala y posición usando las fusiones de color más oscuro y luz focal.
Finalmente trabajé el rostro de la mujer en dos capas, haciéndolas coincidir con el reloj antiguo como si el rostro estuviera dentro del mismo. La primera la pase a blanco y negro dentro de imagen – ajustes y la segunda la borre casi completamente dejando un ojo y la boca de la mujer. Entre estas dos capas del rostro coloqué la imagen del líquido de colores, del cual le borré el fondo y le coloqué una sombra paralela en estilos de capa.
La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
